The Connexus* Led Pass Backpack (patent pending) works in an integrated manner, via wireless communication (Bluetooth), with a portable reader for validating tickets or credentials. When reading a code (QR Code, RFID or barcode), it provides an instant, luminous, and customizable visual indication of the ticket or credential validation status, as it activates a visual color pattern corresponding to the status returned by the Connexus system.

Traditionally, access control at large events (concerts, festivals, congresses, and sporting events) uses static physical barriers such as turnstiles, gates, or fixed reading kiosks. While effective in counting and physically blocking access, these structures limit the mobility of security and reception teams. To provide greater dynamism in access control, the use of portable scanners solves the mobility issue, but the validation screen is restricted to the field of vision of the operator using the device.

With the Led Pass Backpack, security supervisors, the public, and other operators nearby can identify the validation status (whether access was granted or denied). This makes it more difficult to detect fraud, the use of counterfeit or cloned tickets, and to identify attempted intrusions in real time.
